Downtown & West · Toronto

Kensington Market

Bounded by Spadina Avenue to the east, Dundas Street West to the south, Bathurst Street to the west and College Street to the north.

One of Toronto's oldest and most distinctive multicultural neighbourhoods.

Beside downtown Chinatown, the Market is known for its outdoor stalls, vintage shops, Latin grocers, cafés and street festivals like Pedestrian Sundays. Colourful Victorian row houses from the 1870s and 1890s line its streets.

New townhouse and loft projects have been added carefully around the edges. Buying or selling a character home in a neighbourhood this tightly held takes real local knowledge.
