Corktown

Bounded by the Don River to the east, Shuter and Berkeley Streets to the west, south of Regent Park and north of the Gardiner.

One of Toronto's oldest downtown neighbourhoods, named for its 19th-century Irish settlers from County Cork.

Corktown's old industrial buildings and breweries have been steadily converted into lofts and condominiums, with film and production studios taking over others. It sits within easy walking distance of the Distillery District and the downtown core.

The result is a mix of heritage lofts and new condos in a fast-changing pocket. I can help you weigh a loft against a new build here.
