Leslieville

Bounded by Empire Avenue to the west, Eastern Avenue to the south, Coxwell Avenue to the east and Gerrard Street and the rail line to the north.

A former working-class east-end pocket that's become one of the city's best spots to eat, shop and live.

Queen East through Leslieville is a run of brunch spots, cafés, design shops and vintage furniture stores. It's walkable, transit-served and close to the Don Valley and the lake.

The housing is a mix of brick Victorian semis and, in the old industrial pockets toward the south, converted lofts and newer condominiums built through the 2000s.
