Riverdale

Bounded by Danforth Avenue to the north, Jones Avenue to the east, Lake Shore Boulevard to the south and the Don River Valley to the west.

A large, vibrant east-end neighbourhood of Victorian homes, big parks and two food districts.

The housing stock is mainly 19th-century Victorian and Edwardian homes, many long since converted from rooming houses into family homes. The Danforth — 'Greektown' — is packed with restaurants, and Broadview at Gerrard is home to the city's second Chinatown.

Withrow, Riverdale and Jimmie Simpson parks give the area room to breathe, with swimming in summer and tobogganing in winter. It's one of my core areas — ask me anything about buying or selling here.
