Distillery District

A pedestrian heritage precinct on the east side of downtown, north of the Gardiner.

Widely regarded as one of North America's best-preserved sets of Victorian industrial buildings, now a car-free arts quarter.

Once the largest distillery in the British Empire, the district is now a run of brick-paved lanes lined with cafés, restaurants, galleries and design shops — closed to through traffic and open to pedestrians and cyclists.

New condominiums have risen around the heritage core, so buyers can live inside one of the city's most distinctive settings. Condo living here is specialized; I can help you navigate it.
