Don Mills

Bounded by the rail line to the south, Leslie Street to the west, York Mills Road to the north and Victoria Park Avenue to the east.

Canada's first planned 'new town', in North York.

Don Mills was built as a self-contained community with residential, commercial and employment areas woven together. Its shopping centre began as an open-air plaza in the 1960s, was enclosed, and has since returned to an outdoor retail format.

Known for its shopping, restaurants and year-round community events, it's a practical, well-serviced part of North York.
